Custom CNC Burning & Forming of Air Handling Transitions

Custom CNC Burning & Forming of Air Handling TransitionsThe items shown here are designed to work as ventilation transitions in a large scale air handling system. Fabricated from 3/16″, A-36 carbon steel, each of the 12 units measured 10′ x 10′, and featured support feet, and ventilation doors. We utilized our CNC burning capabilities to cut the raw material, and then sent the parts to our rolling and forming shop to form the parts to the customer’s specifications. All of the formed components where assembled using flux core arc welding (FCAW), which met AWS D1.1 standards for quality. Assembly required that the components be assembled in four sections, each section was then hot dip galvanized, and assembled into a single unit. After another visual and dimensional inspection all of the units where shipped to the customer in New York. To learn more about this project, see the table below or contact us directly.
